Welcome to BEOTB: the blog of Answers in Exodus!
The Bible is not about a religion.
The Bible is the Constitution of a King and His rule and reign over His territory. The Bible is about a King, a Kingdom and a royal family.
The prophet Isaiah spoke about this Kingdom and the Son of the King, saying “a child is born to us, a son is given.” The Son given is the Son of the King and of this Son he says:
“Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.” Isa 9:7 ESV
Of the increase of his government, not the increase of a religion, not the increase of an alternative system of belief, not a way of getting along better. No! It is about the increase of His government.
Before the son of the King first appeared to the people of Israel, the King had sent a forerunner.
When a king would travel and make an appearance, he would send his special servants, called “forerunners,” ahead of himself and his entire group, to prepare the people to whom he was coming, for his arrival. The purpose of the forerunner was to get the people’s attention, build anticipation, and make sure everyone was ready for the arrival of the King.
The forerunner for the King’s Son was Yochanan the Immerser (aka John the Baptizer) who announced the coming of the King’s Son and the presence of the Kingdom.
“In those days, John the Immerser came proclaiming in the wilderness of Judea, ‘Turn away from your sins, for the kingdom of heaven is near!’” Mat 3:1 – 2
When Yeshua began his ministry, he did not say “I am here to bring you the church, turn around and follow me.” Again, no! This is how he first appeared and this is what he said:
“From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’” Mat 4:17
A Kingdom is the governing influence of a King over his territory impacting it with His will, His purpose and His Intent. In a Kingdom, the King’s personal will becomes the policy of the Kingdom because the King owns His territory, what is in the territory and the people in the territory.
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Mat 6:9 – 10
That prayer begins with the establishment of the will of the King in a new territory – on the earth. This is done through Colonizing – the establishment of the reign of a King in a foreign territory in outposts that carry out the King’s will and to bring others into the Colony. And the basic purpose of the Colony is to bring about the will of the King in a new territory.
Both Ends of the Book is the blog of Answers in Exodus which exists to restore the will of the King to His subjects and to demonstrate that the King’s Constitution is one document – that the Bible carries one consistent message from cover to cover. That consistent message is to Colonize in order to bring about the will of the King.
The Son of the King is coming back to establish his reign over the King’s Colonies. Are you prepared for his rule and his reign?
Find out what that looks like through Both Ends of the Book and discover the consistency of the Constitution of the King!
